Melli's Fishing Tips
Hi, I am Melli and I love to fish at Aunt Becky's Cottage.
This summer, I caught so many fish that I won this trophy.
I just kept wheeling them in, one right after the other.
Mostly I caught bluegills and sunshines (sunfish). There
are a lot of fish you can catch right off the dock. I even
caught a big bass last summer. It was my first fish. I
think I'm gonna catch another one this year.
Have fun fishing. Here are some of my
tips on the best ways to catch fish:
We mostly fish with worms on a hook, with a bobber on top.
When the bobber jiggles, a fish is biting and when it goes down,
you have to jerk a little and then wheel it in.
Always be patient and wait for the fish to bite. If
they don't bite in 10 minutes, cast out again.
Always try your best when you are fishing.
Always use night crawlers because they are good and Aunt
Becky thinks worms, like red wigglers, are good, too.
Sometimes you can use plastic frogs baits to catch bigger
fish.
To catch other fish, you need a lot of experience, like I
have.
You can try going out on a boat or fishing from the dock.
If you run out of worms, you can fish with corn.

tips, please

Here I am, waiting for another fish to bite. |

This is my brother, Andrew. He likes to fish,
too. |

Kelli caught a lot of sunshines. This is
one of them. |

This is Keegan fishing off the boat.
He caught a bunch of fish too.
He snagged a couple, but most of them bit on a worm. |

This is me and Keegan fishing off shore.
Keegan fell in the lake right after this picture. |

These are my Aunties fishing at sunset.
They catch fish and also help us put the worms on
our hooks and take the fish off when we catch them. |
